Terms of Service

These terms govern use of elinefreelance.com and the services of E-Line Freelance LLC ("E-Line Freelance", "we"). By using the site, posting a project, applying as a freelancer, or joining a training program, you agree to them.

1. The service

E-Line Freelance provides AI training-data services to companies (annotation, evaluation, preference data, red-teaming and related work), remote task work to independent contributors ("freelancers"), and AI adoption training programs for teams. Specific engagements are governed by the scope, quote and any agreement made for that engagement; where those conflict with these terms, the engagement agreement wins.

2. Accounts

• You must give accurate information and keep your credentials to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend accounts used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these terms.
• You must be at least 18 to hold an account.

3. For clients

• Quotes are offers; work begins when you accept a quote (or otherwise agree a scope with us in writing).
• You warrant you have the right to share the data you give us to work on, and that it doesn't violate anyone's rights or applicable law.
• Confidentiality terms and NDAs agreed per engagement apply to both sides.
• Unless agreed otherwise in writing, on full payment you own the deliverables we produce for you.

4. For freelancers

• Task work is independent contractor work — not employment. You choose what to accept; you're responsible for your own taxes and legal obligations in your country.
• Applying, assessments and onboarding are free. We never charge freelancers a fee. Anyone demanding payment to work with E-Line Freelance is not us — report it to morristhimba@gmail.com.
• Each project shows its rate before you accept. Approved work is paid to the payout method on your account.
• Client data and project materials are confidential: don't copy, share, or reuse them outside the task, and don't submit work generated in violation of a project's rules.
• Submitted work may be reviewed, scored and rejected against the project's stated quality bar; repeated low quality or guideline breaches can end assignments or accounts.

5. For training clients

Program dates, seats and content are as scoped for your engagement. Program materials are for your team's internal use, not for resale or redistribution.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the site: no unauthorized access attempts, no scraping other people's data, no uploading malware, no using the service for unlawful work, and no submitting data you have no right to share.

7. Intellectual property

The site, its branding and content belong to E-Line Freelance LLC. Client data remains the client's. Deliverables transfer as described in section 3.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site and portals are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, E-Line Freelance is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Our total liability in connection with an engagement is limited to the amount paid for that engagement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and continued use means acceptance. Either side may end an account at any time; sections that by nature survive (confidentiality, IP, liability) survive.
