Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information E-Line Freelance LLC ("E-Line Freelance", "we") collects on elinefreelance.com and its portals, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose — if anything is unclear, ask us at morristhimba@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries and project briefs — name, work email, company, and the project details you submit.
- Freelancer applications — name, email, country, languages, experience, availability, and anything you add about your background.
- Accounts — email, a hashed password (we never store or see the actual password), and activity such as last sign-in.
- Work records — for freelancers: assignments, progress, quality scores, earnings, payout history, and the payout destination you give us.
- Files — sample data, deliverables and training materials uploaded to a project or engagement.
- Technical basics — the IP address a form was submitted from, used for abuse prevention.
What we use it for
- Responding to enquiries, scoping and delivering projects, and running training programs.
- Matching freelancers to work, reviewing quality, and paying for completed work.
- Operating your account: sign-in, password resets, and emails about things you're part of — a quote, a work invitation, a payment.
- Protecting the service against abuse.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing email lists. The emails we send are about your account or your work with us.
Who can see what
- Clients never see freelancer identities. Client-facing progress is counts and percentages only.
- Freelancers never see client files or contacts beyond the instructions of work assigned to them.
- Internal notes made by our team stay internal.
- Payout details are visible only to you and to E-Line Freelance staff who process payments.
Where it lives and how it's protected
Data is stored in a database on our hosting provider's servers. Passwords are hashed with a modern algorithm. Uploaded files are kept outside the public web root and served only to signed-in users authorized for that specific file. Access to the administrative dashboard is limited to E-Line Freelance staff accounts.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, applications and work records are kept while your relationship with us is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and legal purposes. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (below).
Cookies
We use one session cookie to keep you signed in to a portal. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email morristhimba@gmail.com from the address on your account.
- Deleting your data ends any active account; records we're legally required to keep (e.g. payment records) are retained as required.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we'll update the date above and, for account holders, mention it by email.
